Some have asked, why use a solvent? Why Butane?

We chose butane for a couple reasons.

1. Butane is one of the best solvents for stripping a majority of the medicinal compounds from cannabis. When compared with methods like CO2, Butane gets a higher performance rating on its ability to harvest the oils and retaining the terpenes.

2. Butane through a closed loop system leaves very minimal carbon footprint, because the gas loops through the system, there is very minimal environmental impact from the overall process.

3. BHO is cost effective and affordable, the nature of this technology enables us to produce and provide medicine at an affordable cost to patients. When we compared this method to solvent less, there was little comparison. While the products are different, we wanted to reach the most patients we could. BHO allows us to produce and provide concentrates at an affordable rate for the regular patient in Oklahoma.
